The stiffness of the suspension spring of a locomotive is the ratio of the unit working load F to the unit deformation f. The tolerance of the suspension spring stiffness is ±KF. When the suspension spring stiffness is to be assessed, the working deformation must be 30%-70% of the full deformation.
